By engaging Sage NZ Ltd for plumbing, gasfitting, drainage, maintenance, repair or related services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1.1 All invoices are payable within 5 working days from the date of issue, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.3 Please include the invoice number as the payment reference to ensure payments can be correctly allocated.
2.1 Any queries or disputes relating to an invoice must be notified to Sage NZ Ltd in writing within 5 days of the invoice date.
2.2 If no written query or dispute is received within this period, the invoice will be considered accepted and payable in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3.1 Sage NZ Ltd reserves the right to recover any reasonable costs incurred in obtaining payment of overdue accounts.
3.2 These costs may include debt collection fees, legal costs and other reasonable recovery expenses, where applicable.
4.1 Where any building consent, resource consent, approval or other authority is required for the work, it is the client's responsibility to arrange and obtain the required consent or approval unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 The client is responsible for providing Sage NZ Ltd with any relevant documentation or information required to carry out the work.
5.1 Sage NZ Ltd is responsible only for the work and services carried out by Sage NZ Ltd and its authorised employees, contractors or representatives.
5.2 Sage NZ Ltd accepts no responsibility for defects, damage, failures or work carried out by other contractors or third parties.
6.1 Any parking fees, parking charges, access fees or other reasonable costs incurred by Sage NZ Ltd while carrying out work at a customer's property will be charged to the customer.
7.1 Where a Compliance Certificate, Producer Statement (PS3), inspection, certification or other documentation is required and is not included in the quoted or agreed price, this will be charged as an additional cost.
8.1 All goods, equipment and materials supplied and/or installed by Sage NZ Ltd remain the property of Sage NZ Ltd until the relevant invoice has been paid in full.
8.2 Where an account remains unpaid, Sage NZ Ltd reserves the right to exercise any rights available to it under applicable New Zealand law in relation to unpaid goods and materials.
9.1 Any work completed by Sage NZ Ltd that has not been included on the original invoice may be invoiced at a later date.
9.2 This may include additional work, variations, materials, labour or other charges identified after the original invoice has been issued.
10.1 Jobs received through third-party service providers may incur an administration charge of up to 6% plus GST of the total invoice value, depending on the service provider and the terms under which the work was received.
10.2 Any applicable administration charge will be included in the customer's invoice where applicable.
11.1 Sage NZ Ltd maintains public liability insurance with cover of up to $100,000, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions and limits of the relevant insurance policy.
12.1 Products and equipment supplied or installed by Sage NZ Ltd are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where a manufacturer's warranty applies.
12.2 Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer's own terms, conditions, exclusions and warranty periods.
13.1 Sage NZ Ltd will provide warranty-related service arising from our workmanship for a period of one year (365 days) from completion of the relevant work, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
13.2 After this one-year period has expired, Sage NZ Ltd will not be responsible for any remaining period of a manufacturer's product warranty.
13.3 Any warranty claim relating to the product itself after this period should be directed to the relevant manufacturer.
13.4 This clause does not limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable New Zealand law.
14.1 Our current pricing and service rates are available on our website.
14.2 Prices may vary depending on the nature of the work, site conditions, materials required, access, additional work or other circumstances associated with the job.
14.3 Unless otherwise stated, prices are subject to GST where applicable.
15.1 Sage NZ Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
15.2 The Terms and Conditions applicable to a particular job will be those in effect and agreed upon at the time the work is accepted, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
16.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
16.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable New Zealand legislation where those rights cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
